GETTING TO SANIBEL
Sanibel Island is on the Gulf Coast of South Florida, north of Naples and south of Tampa and Sarasota. Fort Myers is the closest large city in mainland Florida. The island is easily reached by car using the 3-mile causeway ($6) toll bridge across San Carlos Bay.
